After winning a call for proposals for a Disaster Recovery Solution for Canal 13's Avid Production Servers, Media Olam developed a complete solution, based on Web Front ends and Storage Servers.  The Software is a web application that interconnects with Avid Interplay's API web services.  Users can browse all the Projects inside an Avid Interplay Server and select the desire asset or assets to send to archive.  The Application recognizes both the Project inside the Avid Interplay Server and the media related with the assets that belongs to the Projects.  Assets are then archived into a super-fast Storage server, ZFS raid system over Omnios Solaris, capable of a writing speed of 950MB/s and a reading speed of 2GB/s.

Users can later browse the files stored inside folders and drag&drop the AAF file into Avid's composer timeline, without losing any sequence, audio or graphic effect.
